THE GENESIS EVENT : NEW DNA EVIDENCE SAYS ITS TRUE?

THE GENESIS EVENT : NEW DNA EVIDENCE SAYS ITS TRUE?

Hot from the “things are getting bloody interesting” department comes a report that scientists in the U.S. and Switzerland have made an astonishing discovery: All humans alive today are the offspring of a common father and mother – an Adam and Eve – who emerged on the planet 100,000 to 200,000 years ago. The same is true of nine out of every 10 animal species, meaning that nearly all of Earth’s creatures living today sprang into being recently — like yesterday in evolutionary terms — from some seminal, Big Bang-like creation event. This genesis event discovery upholds my musings on the ancient Egyptian Edfu creation texts and their description of the spontaneous emergence of humanity from a ‘cosmic egg’ (that sounds intriguingly like a super AI device).

The messenger of the report, evangelistic author and fellow Nashville cat, Michael Guillen, who has taught physics at Harvard and was a science editor for ABC News, commented on the scientific discovery from May, 2018 regarding human ancestors in an op-ed for Fox News.

The scientists, led by Rockefeller University’s Mark Stoeckle and David Thaler of University of Basel, Switzerland, mining “big DNA data” amassed over the past fifteen years, concluded that ninety percent of all animal species alive today come from parents that all began giving birth at roughly the same time, around 200,000 years ago.

This suggests there was a previous civilization to Adam and Eve that was wiped out.

If all the world is a stage, this report is saying all the players were together when the curtain (re)opened around 200,000 years ago.

The findings challenge the idea that present-day animal species are millions of years old.

“This conclusion is very surprising,” Thaler avers, “and I fought against it as hard as I could.”

What he is fighting against is a wack from scientists who say they are like Bible Belt evangelists.

This discovery supports the Bible’s Adam and Eve story and is an affirmation of Creationism, or the belief that God created heaven and earth out of nothing, by an act of free will. Creationists take the Bible story of creation at face value.

Responding to the resurfacing of the study, Franklin Graham, who heads the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, affirmed that when God spoke, there was a “big bang,” which he said was Creation itself.

“This is really just science confirming what the Word of God tells us,” Graham said on Facebook in response to the research.

Often, Creationists leave little or unacknowledged the fact that the Old Testament’s Book of Genesis, which emerged after the Jewish exile to Babylon and their ‘changing of the gods’ in the 6th century B.C., has close parallels to older Mesopotamian creation texts, especially Enuma Elish, which is actually a song, composed 1,200 years before in the 18th century B.C.

I am more interested in how the new finding parallels and affirms the ancient Egypt creation story from Edfu that tells of just such an epic creation event. While the Edfu texts were published on the wall of the Temple of Horus at Edfu in c. 250 B.C. they are based on much older accounts.

In my reading of this incredible creation account we learn of an elder or primordial tribe of bird-like beings of light who came to earth and laid an egg that become an original island civilization. The text describes the hatching of creation ‘all at once’ and the emergence of civilization from this egg.

Just as described in the Edfu Texts, Stoeckle and Thaler’s findings say that we, and every living thing we see around us, arose from a recent — like last week —and supernatural Creation event, “orchestrated by some unknown mechanism,” as Guillen suggested in his op-ed.

The thing is the unknown mechanism is known in the Edfu Texts. As I wrote, it was a group of formless light beings who emerged from an egg and took on flesh and blood human bodies. Their terraforming of earth sounds like something we envision doing today with an AI super technology known as an “astro chicken” that can seek a habitable world and upon finding it lay an egg packed with all the necessaries for starting a world.

The Edfu story is similar to Dr. Carl Sagan’s “panspermia” or star seed theory that life exists in the universe and is “seeded” via comets on habitable worlds, which then evolve from that point, given the right conditions.

As I discussed in “Ancient Alien (Artificially Intelligent) Astro Chickens” space probes may also be a viable transport mechanism for interplanetary cross-pollination in the Solar System or even beyond.

Then there is the recent proclamation from a Harvard astrobiologist that the space object called Oumuamua is actually a space probe, specifically a Von Neumann probe or “astro chicken”, as it is also known.

AROUND 200,000 YEARS AGO

This study catches my attention for the further reason that it mentions my ‘magic time’, ‘around 200,000 years ago’.

It so happens that around 200,000 years ago some mysterious event occurred that spontaneously led to the modern human brain coming into existence in Africa.

For what purpose was our Neo-cortex activated? And by what mechanism?

These are the great questions of neuroscience.

The neocortex says Carl Sagan in his iconic Cosmos, is where “matter is transformed into consciousness.” It comprises more than two-thirds of our brain mass. The realm of intuition and critical analysis,–it is the Neocortex where we have our ideas and inspirations, where we read and write, where we compose music or do mathematics. “It is the distinction of our species,” writes Sagan,”the seat of our humanity. Civilization is the product of the cerebral cortex.”

Writing in The Evolution of the Brain, the Human Nature of Cortical Circuits, and Intellectual Creativity published on Frontiers of Neuroanatomy Jabie DeFelipe proposes that the reason for our recently acquired cognitive capacity is the production and appreciation of art, which seems to be a uniquely human attribute.

Says DeFelipe:

The hominid brain grew at an accelerating pace until it reached its present size of 1500cc about 200,000 years ago. Yet uniquely human abilities such the invention of highly sophisticated “standardized” multi- part tools, tailored clothes, art, religious belief and perhaps even language are thought to have emerged quite rapidly around 40,000 years ago — a sudden explosion of human mental abilities and culture that is sometimes called the “big bang.” If the brain reached its full human potential — or at least size — 200,000 years ago why did it remain idle for 150,000 years?

Something intervened to activate the neo-cortex. Sagan thought that something was cosmic rays.

Personally, I like the Edfu texts and their explanation.

A COSMIC RESET BUTTON?

Was there some cosmic event that wiped out previous civilizations?

Was a cosmic reset button pushed by an elder intelligence that led to our emergence?

This hypothesis upholds the idea that we are at the mercy of forces we do not see nor understand; forces that made our existence possible a few hundred thousand years ago and that just as quickly – in the twinkling of an eye – can and will one day take us out.

Those same forces are active today.

Around 200,000 years later we are modifying the neo-cortex with the implantation of smart dust chips.

Voila!

Our next evolutionary leap is before us…and it may be one we wish to pass on.

By the mid-2020s everything you see around you, every car, toaster, television, every piece of clothing you wear, will be part of 30 billion and counting ‘smart objects’ on the Internet of Things. Smart dust, wireless devices smaller than a speck of dust, will be in the air round you, even in your skin, monitoring everything.

Intelligent dust particles sprinkled in the neo-cortex could/will form an entirely new form of brain-machine interface and give a developer remote control access to your brain, as well as link you with a Global Super Brain.

I don’t want to leave you fearing that the very air we breathe is presently filled with this dust, so let me close by saying the ‘eye is twinkling‘, and the LEAP IS HERE. We are living a new Genesis event.

Yes, someone has pressed the Genesis Reset button.

The cosmic egg is hatching…again.

    And then there is this…….
    The Golden Compass…….

Why trust Dust-haters like Lord Asriel, anyway?
Sin, shame, death – that sure sounds bad, right? At the end of the novel, though, Lyra and Pan decide that maybe Dust isn’t quite so bad after all:

“We’ve heard them all talk about Dust, and they’re so afraid of it, and you know what? We believed them, even though we could see that what they were doing was wicked and evil and wrong… We thought Dust must be bad too, because they were grown up and they said so. But what if it isn’t? What if it’s-”

She said breathlessly, “Yeah! What if it’s really good… ” (23.100-101)

When Lyra and Pan question whether Dust is actually sinful or not, the book seems to want us to ask ourselves the same question. Perhaps gaining knowledge – and growing from innocence into experience – isn’t such a bad thing after all.

“Dust in Philip Pullman’s trilogy of novels His Dark Materials is a fictional form of dark matter, an elementary particle that is of fundamental importance to the novels.”

Are we talking about fairy dust, angel dust or micro-terminator dust programmed to invade human brains and to kill if the machine detects an outlawed thought pattern?
